March 23 Update and Call for Sessions:
The vision for the 2017 Conference is to engage with and be inspired by our host community - Manchester, Vermont - and the real-world planning challenges and opportunities it presents. We will move beyond the four walls of the conference meeting rooms, turning Manchester into a classroom and laboratory for what is new and innovative in planning. The committee invites proposals that will inspire attendees by exploring the most dynamic issues and ideas facing the planning profession today. We are looking for sessions that will provide a deep dive into a project, topic, or experience and convey information that attendees can actually use in their own work.
For more information on specific themes and submission requirements, please take a look at the attached announcement. You can send questions on this call for proposals to email@example.com.

Stormwater is the greatest threat to Maine’s rivers, streams, lakes, and bays. Many communities in Maine and around New England have found that collaborating with public and private entities has helped them make strides in their efforts to protect and restore water resources. This conference showcases effective planning, design, maintenance, and funding approaches to address stormwater runoff quantity and quality and habitat challenges. The 2017 conference will have a focus on collaboration and partnerships that help municipalities and other groups achieve their clean water goals.
