Multimodal Planning Division Manager, Maine Department of Transportation Bureau of Planning

Land Use Planner, Androscoggin Valley Council of Governments (AVCOG)

Androscoggin Valley Council of Governments (AVCOG) serves Androscoggin, Franklin, and Oxford Counties and seeks to fill the above position. It is located in Auburn and will require travel throughout the region both during day and evenings. You would be primary contact for comprehensive/land use planning. Providing technical assistance in land use related matters to planning boards and code enforcement officers. Prepare land use related ordinance including, zoning, shoreland zoning, site plan review and subdivision. Serve as the Regional Growth Management Coordinator for contacts with the Maine Muncipal Planning Assistance Program. Assist communities in their comprehensive planning programs. Town Planner, Town of New Gloucester

The Town of New Gloucester, population 5,500, is seeking a full-time Town Planner. Responsibilities of the position include administration of the planning department, development review, formulation of long and short-range plans, revision of land use ordinances, project management and grant writing. The position also serves as technical staff to the Planning Board, Land Management Planning Committee, Economic Development Committee and several ad hoc committees.
